Why AudioNow
-
Nothing to install

-
About one second of delay
Listeners hear you almost in real time. Playback adapts automatically when a connection is shaky.

Private by default
No sign-up and no tracking. Audio is relayed live and is never recorded or stored.
-
Share in seconds
Every room gets a short code, a link and a QR code. Listeners do not need to type anything else.

Works on strict networks
Streams over ordinary HTTPS, so it also works on hotel, school, office and mobile networks.
Frequently asked questions
Do listeners need an app or an account?
No. Listeners open the room link or enter the 5-character code on audionow.app and press play. It works in any modern browser on phones, tablets and computers.
How do I stream audio from my phone?
Open audionow.app on your phone, tap Create room, then Go live and allow microphone access. Share the code, link or QR code with your listeners. Keep the screen on while you broadcast, because phones usually pause the microphone when they lock.
How much delay is there?
Usually about one second from the microphone to the listener. AudioNow keeps a small buffer so playback stays smooth on mobile networks.
Is the audio recorded?
No. Audio is relayed live and only kept in memory for a few seconds while it is delivered. Nothing is saved, and there is no replay.
Can I stream music?
Yes. Switch to Music mode before going live. It turns off echo and noise reduction and streams at 96 kbps Opus. Audio is mono.
How long does a room stay open?
As long as the host keeps it open. You can stop and restart the broadcast with the same code. Rooms close when the host ends them, or 30 minutes after the host leaves.
Is AudioNow free?
Yes. Creating rooms and listening is free, with no sign-up.
